Explaining that the visors, which started to be produced with three-dimensional printers for 30-35 pieces per day, were delivered to healthcare professionals quickly, the demands increased and they started to look for alternative solutions to keep up with this. Dr. He stated that they accelerated the work with the support of İbrahim Aydınlı.
Mert stated that they have reached the capacity to produce 2 thousand shield masks per day with plastic injection by starting mass production, and it has been decided to send 5 thousand hundred visors to the healthcare professionals working at Ankara City Hospital, and to meet the demands from other institutions and healthcare professionals.
 
New designs for needs are also on the way
Expressing that there are other demands from healthcare professionals in the fight against the Kovid-19 epidemic, and that they have made new designs for the use of surgical masks more comfortably, Mert said, “It was stated that there is a problem in surgical masks that causes irritation in the ear roots during prolonged use. Thanks to the connection apparatus we have developed, healthcare professionals will be able to use their masks without feeling discomfort. For this apparatus, samples were produced with 3D printers, but due to the high need, there were different studies for mass production.
